INNER VOICE, artist book, ear protection, book stand, exhibition view Bundeskunsthalle Bonn, 2019

Unlike a normal book, this book has 2 spines and can therefore be read in two areas for browsing synchronously and asynchronously. Which always results in new sentence combinations and thus contexts and meanings.
Synchronous reading examples:

think what you think
do what you do
hear what you hear
feel what you feel

etc.

Asynchronous reading examples:

feel what you think
hear what you do
see what you feel
feel what you hear

etc.

This artist book is a result of the research with the working title „Think like a mountain because colonizing heaven might not be such a good idea“ (which I was able to carry out in Amsterdam and around Starnmeer during the winter 2018/19 thanks to Cultureland Residency).
